EXPERIENTAL
FIBER ARTS
Fiber for the future
In a fast-paced world that prioritizes simplification and overconsumption, I believe noticing as a vital act of resistance against apathy and hopelessness. Too often complexity is sacrificed for the sake of digestibility. Through my art, I demand attention for the weird, wonderful, and overlooked corners of nature - the smallest fungi or most remote deep-sea life. Interactive designs and non-traditional installation sites help audiences think of themselves as equal partners to the environment; neither superior or subject but a stakeholder in a mutual search for safety and survival.
